On July 16 FC Dynamo Kyiv played friendly against Saudi Arabia multiple champions Al-Hilal FC.

This time the White-Blues squad was similar to the one used by Serhiy Rebrov in the match against Karlsruher SC.

Kyivans had the first scoring chance at the close of the first 15 minutes of the game. Artem Kravets unleashed a long-range shot and hit the bar.

After that referee awarded penalty for Al-Hilal for Selin’s doubtful foul against Al-Bishi and Al-Shalhoub converted from the spot.

Dynamo started the second half very actively. Special attention should be paid to Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev.

Kyivans created several chances, but conceded again. Al-Qahtani headed the ball in after cross from the left flank.

A couple of minutes before the time Al-Hilal scored one more goal. Thiago Neves noticed that Rybka dashed from goal and hit the target from the defensive half.

The White-Blues will face Al-Hilal FC from Riyadh.

The club was founded in 1957. Al-Hilal are the most titled team of Saudi Arabia. They triumphed in domestic competitions a lot of times, won the AFC Champions League, Asian Cup Winners’ Cup, Arab Super Cup, Saudi-Egyptian Super Cup and Arabian Gulf Club Championship Cup.

Last season key players of the team were forward Nasser Al-Shamrani, defender Yasser Al-Shahrani and midfielder Segundo Castillo.

Al-Hilal top strikers were Al-Shamrani (21 goal) and Brazilian halfback Thiago Neves (13 goals).

The head coach of the team is 38-year-old Laurențiu Reghecampf.
