Metalist: losses, losses, losses…
During the winter break Kharkiv side lost people who had senior positions in the club and several performers. Metalist president and owner Serhiy Kurchenko has been put on wanted list. Sporting director Frank Arnesen has also left the team. The same can be said about first vice-president Serhiy Volyk.
Metalist head coach Myron Markevych has surrendered the office. Forward Marco Devic has been signed by FC Rubin Kazan, Jose Sosa is featuring for Atletico Madrid on loan. Jaja Coelho has left Kharkiv, some Argentinean and Brazilian players aren’t sure about their future…
Markevych’s assistant coach Serhiy Rakhaev (pictured) is optimistic, but at the same time he understands that second part of the season won’t be easy for his team. At the moment he has only one striker – Humeniuk.
During the winter break two Dynamo performers joined Metalist – Andriy Bohdanov and Ayila Yussuf.
