FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Zoria Luhansk at the NSC Olimpiyskyi within the UPL matchday 30.

Serhiy Rebrov made six substitutions in the starting lineup comparing with the Ukrainian Cup final. Olexandr Rybka kept the goal. Yevhen Selin featured as centre back and Andriy Tsurikov – as left back.

Roman Bezus played in the midfield, Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev performed as winger and Brown Ideye – as finisher.

Game aspects

Dynamo created a lot of scoring chances in the first half. Seven minutes into the game Ideye didn’t score in one-on-one situation.

Later Yarmolenko took a free kick, passed to Tsurikov, but two Andriy’s shots were blocked.

After that Bezus put a cross into the box, Ideye tried to head the ball in, but Santini parried the shot.

Right before the break Domagoj Vida suffered an injury and Serhiy Sydorchuk took the field.

In the second half Dynamo kept attacking. 69 minutes into the match Younes Belhanda assisted Brown Ideye, who eluded Santini and hit the open goal!

Two minutes later Yarmash blocked Belhanda’s shot with his hand and Andriy Yarmolenko converted from the spot.

Dynamo third goal was also Belhanda’s desert. Younes found Harmash with a long ball in the penalty area and Denys hit the bottom corner.

Several minutes before the time referee awarded penalty for Zoria and Danilo made the score 3:1.

Another important event took place 79 minutes into the game. Ihor Kharatin made his debut for the main squad.

After the final whistle players came up to fans and thanked them for support.

Key episode

It was important for Dynamo to open the score. Kyivans did that in the second half and later hit the target two more times.

Top person

Younes Belhanda has demonstrated his outstanding skills. He’s got two assists to his name and besides his shot resulted in penalty for Dynamo.

On May 18 FC Dynamo Kyiv will finish 2013/2014 season with the match against FC Zoria Luhansk. The game will start at 17:00 at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.

Dynamo: to play at their leisure

This match won’t have any strategic importance for our team. It’s already known that Dynamo will finish fourth in the UPL this season.

Still several days ago the White-Blues won another important trophy – Ukrainian Cup.

Anyway Andriy Yarmolenko has stated that no matter what Kyivans will try to demonstrate their best play as they face FC Zoria Luhansk.

Players have a good possibility to thank fans, who supported them through the whole season.

It’s also a chance for performers, who don’t have much game practice, to approve themselves.

Zoria: last chance to qualify for Europa League

FC Zoria Luhansk still struggle for the right to feature in the Europa League next season.

At the moment Yuriy Vernydub’s men lack only one point behind the 6th place in standings.

Luhansk side main competitors are FC Metalurh Donetsk and FC Chornomorets Odesa. Draw against Dynamo can be a satisfactory result for Zoria.

In their previous game Vernydub’s men lost against FC Shakhtar Donetsk. The coach was very dissatisfied with refereeing of the match.

Dynamo have already faced Zoria 25 times. Kyivans won 19 matches, lost 2 and four more games ended in a draw.
