FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Metalurh Donetsk within the UPL matchday 27.
It has been already mentioned that Serhiy Rebrov had serious problems with squad as Yevhen Makarenko, Andriy Yarmolenko and Dieumerci Mbokani were suspended while Olexandr Shovkovskyi, Yevhen Khacheridi and Miguel – injured.
Game aspects
Dynamo concede first in the third match in a row. This time the White-Blues didn’t manage to pull out a victory or at least to salvage a draw.
Serhiy Rebrov made several substitutions in the starting lineup comparing to the game against FC Chornomorets Odesa. Olexandr Rybka was keeping the goal, Yevhen Selin played as left back, Oleh Husiev was Dynamo skipper, Lukman Haruna and Serhiy Sydorchuk performed as midfielders and Brown Ideye was the only finisher.
Kyivans started the game actively, but crosses into the box were ineffective and Ideye was often flagged offside.
Second half started with a cold shower for Dynamo. Metalurh took a corner, after which Moraes hit the target.
Such progression of events made Serhiy Rebrov enforce the play with Harmash and Kalytvyntsev.
After the break Lens and Ideye had a lot of scoring chances, but couldn’t use them.
74 minutes into the match Kalytvyntsev equalized the score with a good shot from inside the box.
Still six minutes before the time Moraes unleashed a shot from 20-meter distance and netted the ball with a help of rebound.
Key episode
Dynamo could count on points, but Moraes’ goal was decisive.
Top person
Special attention should be paid to Vladyslav Kalytvyntsev’s play. He made his first appearance for Dynamo this season and managed to score.
