FC Dynamo Kyiv president Ihor Surkis has shared his impressions of the game against RFS and summarized the euro cups campaign:
- What did you tell the team after the last euro cups game of the season?
- First of all I told that they fought and that we this win psychologically. The field was pretty poor. Guys have been having a training camp since January 5. Now they’ll have four days off after which they’ll continue getting ready for the UPL.
- How important is the logistics issue? What did players tell you about two final games whey they didn’t have to travel through half Europe?
- We had a purposeful preparation for the match against Galatasaray, everyone saw that the guys played with enthusiasm and demonstrated decent skills, so logistics is important. Both we and Shakhtar would have had more points if we had played at home, but we have a war going on. I hope that this year it will end. It will end with peace, a just peace for our Ukraine, and we will play at our stadiums with full stands.
A big thank you to the fans who came to the match against RFS. There weren’t too many of them, but they came in such weather to support the team, even though we’re not achieving proper results. Today we invited our heroes who are recovering from serious wounds. I said some warm words to them, so that they recover and be healthy.
- What’s your estimation of this euro cups season on the scale from 1 to 10?
- We did very poorly, that’s all I can say.
- Oleh Husiev mentioned you plan to enforce the team. Is there any detail on that?
- We’re looking for a center back and winger.
