The White-Blues’ goalkeeper Heorhii Bushchan has explained Profootball digital the reasons for Dynamo euro cups failures.
- The first half of the season is over. How was it for you?
- It was tough as we were constantly on the road. I guess no one cares about it. Besides every team can has ups and downs. Even European top clubs. They always expect us to win. We aimed for that, but at this point this is our level. Thing we can do in domestic league, we can’t do on European arena.
- Is the class difference really so huge?
- On European level they punish you for slightest mistakes. There’s no such a team in the world that would win every game if they traveled like us.
- Do you mean you lack recovery?
- Let’s say we play on Thursday evening. On Friday we have a flight and take a train. We come to Kyiv on Saturday afternoon and go to the training ground right away. Then we do some recovery and have a training session. On Sunday we have a game. But anyway we’re grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the chance to play in Europe.
- But you have a young team…
- The average age of our team is like 25 years or something. We have both young and experienced players. But thank you for support.
- We give you a chance to express your point.
- It’s hardly possible to prove anything. People need to see that themselves. Anyway, we’re grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to play in Europe.
