On September 27, Ukraine U21 played the U21 European Championship qualification play-off round second leg against Slovakia in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.
The Yellow-Blues suffered narrow defeat in the first leg (2:3), so they needed the victory this time and succeeded due to the hat-trick of FC Shakhtar Donetsk forward Danylo Sikan – 3:0.
Four FC Dynamo Kyiv representatives took part in this game – defender Olexandr Syrota, halfbacks Mykola Mykhailenko, Volodymyr Brazhko and forward Vladyslav Vanat.
Thus Ukraine U21 have qualified for the Euro finals for the third time in their history.
