Four Dynamo players perform for Ukraine against Italy

On Tuesday, September 12, Ukraine national team played a Euro-2024 qualifier against Italy in Milan.

Two FC Dynamo Kyiv representatives were in the Yellow-Blues’ starting lineup – goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan and winger Andriy Yarmolenko.

The keeper saved our team a number of times (Italy unleashed 23 shots in total), but still conceded twice in the first half.

Yarmolenko gave Ukrainians hope in the 41st minute as he pulled one back and thus scored his 46th international goal (three more needed to beat the record of Andriy Shevchenko).

Two Dynamo players made substitute appearances in the second half – midfielder Vitaliy Buialskyi and forward Vladyslav Vanat – but the score didn’t change anymore – 2:1 for Italy.

Ukraine will play the next qualifier on October 14 – against North Macedonia.
